Katy + Derek Bend Wedding - House on Metolius - Central Oregon
After visiting dozens of venues Katy and Derek chose to have their wedding at the House on Metolius in the heart of Central Oregon. This private estate has been a retreat destination for a little over one hundred years. The spectacular views of the Metolius River, Mt. Jefferson, Three Finger Jack and the surrounding fields and trees made the perfect backdrop for their wedding. After getting to know Katy and Derek more we soon realized that this place reflected their personalities in so many ways: natural, relaxing, adventurous, beautiful, calm, playful, open, contemplative, and real to name a few.
Nikki + Paul Caribbean Wedding - Portofino Beach Resort - Belize
Every time we commit to shooting a destination wedding we dive in deep whole heartedly into the entire experience. We become one with all of the guests and ebb and flow with every move and feeling we see. “Going all in” is really the only way we feel we can truly tell the full story. When Nikki and Paul invited us to be part of their Belize wedding experience with 50 of their best friends we knew we were in for a serious adventure. Like Nikki’s words describe so well, “You are my north, south, my east and west. May our love forever guide us through life’s unknown.” They lead us through some of this beautiful unknown which we will never forget.
Niki + Amit Indian Wedding - Sunriver Resort - Central Oregon
Niki and Amit are two people who literally glow with life. They are are something like a river that gives and receives and every time we find ourselves in their presence everything flows effortlessly. Their wedding was nothing short of a real journey. We were “all in” with them and even though we were in central Oregon at Sunriver Resort we felt like we went to India for 3 full days of celebration. The heat was intense. The colors were on fire. And the love shared between everyone was something we will never EVER forget
Robyn + Trevor Timberline Lodge - Silcox Hut Wedding - Mt Hood
Robyn and Trevor are as unique as they come. Robyn is a firefighter, teaches aerial ski jumping, loves snowboarding, camping, wine tasting, traveling Thailand, Mexico, mountains and building forts! Trying to describe Trevor is almost impossible, let’s just put it this way he led Robyn on a wild goose chase on his motorbike and pretended something was wrong with the bike. He stopped the bike, had her try to solve the problem with studying the bike engine, big distraction, then as she turned around he proposed to her on the spot. We got to see this first hand from this hidden shakey camera that captured this moment in the most unusual spot. The camera turned up to the sky as we could hear them laughing and crying together as she said “yes!” Nice job Trevor!

Faye and Lowell wanted their wedding to feel intimate, relaxed, and sophisticated. They adore Portland and wanted their guests to have a unique experience. Getting ready at Portland’s Jupiter NEXT with its grand views of Portland was perfectly in the center of Portland action. The inspiring vast views of the classic Central Eastside to the gorgeous West Hills down to the new Tilikum Bridge gave their guests a lovely peek into Portland’s character. After spending quality time at the Jupiter NEXT, Faye and Lowell had their ceremony in the courtyard of their condo in NE Portland followed by a reception at the award winning restaurant Han Oak.

Galen + Carl Castaway Wedding - Portland - Pearl District
These two fabulous humans reached out to us while we were visiting family in California so we skyped. Although we always prefer to meet in person we immediately loved their smiles and laughter. Once we learned more about the day they wanted to create we could tell they wanted a relaxed but meaningful day full of love and friendship. They were not focused on decor or the details, they were focused on the moments. So that was what they were also looking for in the Photography. Candids of all the fun and celebration and the connection between.
Courtney + Brian Cirque Wedding - Merv Griffin Estate - Palm Springs
Everyone who attended this wedding at the Merv Griffin Estate knows it felt like stepping into a grand dream. The legendary entertainer Merv Griffin at this vast 39-acre estate boasts a 13 bedroom exotic home, a jaw dropping Moroccan themed play-ground. Over 60 full time vendors helped orchestrate this magnificent wedding including aerial performers, stilt walkers, circus folk, fire dancers and belly dancers. Their “cirque story of love” theme consisted of vintage and modern urban elegance. This brilliant setting was the perfect stage for Courtney and Brian to share their profound love.
Yvette + JP University Club Portland Wedding - Park Blocks - St James Church
Yvette and JP are two people who live life to the fullest. They love “cuddling and traveling” at every chance they can take. They love good food, hiking, and taking road trips across the US from OR to NC and are planning to visit South America next. For their Portland wedding, they wanted simple elegance. They want a romantic vintage feel and knew the University Club of Portland would be the perfect spot for getting ready and having their reception. The University Club of Portland is also located in Portland’s Park Blocks which also offers a nice historical touch to their wedding, and perfect because their ceremony was being held at the nearby St James Church. The proximity of these two venues made it easy for everyone to walk, interact and enjoy the flow of the day.
