Caro + Ben Chateau Wedding - France - Montpellier

We didn’t understand what we signed up for with Caro and Ben’s destination wedding until we started driving deep into the south of France on an ancient Spanish road leading into the Madieres valley. Speckles of golden sunlight flickered through passing trees with faint impressions of massive rock cliffs, rich greenery and in the distance a chateau nested in the cliffs above a “meandering” calm river. A feeling of deep peace started to overcome us. Time slowed down. Our escort, Lucie (the bride’s cousin) said to us in the most sweet charming french accent, “You know… we are headed to a very special place.” We will never forget the soft smile on her face as she said, “This… is the beginning of the end of the world.”

Shannon and Kiernan rented a beloved 16th century countryside Renaissance villa near a hillside town called Todi in the heart of Umbria, Italy. Villa Tre Grazie hosts 26 rooms, 11 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, high frescoed ceilings, a gorgeous pool, and breathtaking panoramic views all surrounded by olive orchards. There’s even a 17th century chapel inside. When you walk into this place it is like walking into a dream. When the warmth, charm, and love of Shannon and Kiernan along with 40 family and friends arrived at this villa, their dream immediately became a reality.

When Robert Frost’s poem, “The Master Speed” was spoken during Faye and David’s ceremony a torrent of warmth seemed to flow through everyone. No speed of wind or water rushing by. But you have speed far greater. You can climb back up a stream of radiance to the sky…

A stunning destination wedding in Sicily with Letizia and Morgan on June 30th in Milazzo, Italy. Letizia’s family ushered friends and relatives from near and far into a rich and intimate Sicilian experience. Letizia’s bridal head piece was made with vintage veiling and a handmade flower by Love and Sass (Tree Marie). Letizia’s vintage inspired couture wedding dress by Claire Pettibone exquisitely complimented this Sicilian backdrop. Its european laces and embroideries combined with luscious silks, soft cotton, and couture details was breath-taking.
