Dani + Caroline Calamigos Ranch Wedding - Malibu California - Birchwood Room
When we first spoke with Dani and Caroline they told us they wanted to get married in an old cemetery. What? So awesome! Among many ideas, they chose the gorgeous setting of the Birchwood Room at Calamigos Ranch in the heart of the Santa Monica Mountains in Malibu Wine country. Calamigos Ranch is the only destination event ranch for weddings in the area. The birchwood room provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate wedding between the natural limestone waterfall and massive weeping willow trees. Massive oak trees surrounded their reception area with twinkling lights. The perfect summer sunset affair.

Amelia + Scott Sonoma Wedding | Winery & Barn | California
When Amelia and Scott walked into their ceremony their friend and officiant Jeff surprised them with an impromptu performance of their old AOL chat conversations when they first met ten years ago. Jeff has been a friend of theirs since the beginning, and unbeknownst to Amelia and Scott he saved transcripts of their chats with him when they were first dating! Jeff had the most brilliant idea! He printed out the old transcripts and had them role-play the chat during the beginning of their ceremony.
